Affiliate Program Terms

Effective May 18, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026

1.Acceptance of these terms

By submitting an application to the Webstepper Affiliate Program (“Program”) or by promoting any Webstepper product after approval, you (“Affiliate,” “you”) agree to be bound by these terms (“Terms”). The Program is operated by Setmood LLC (“Webstepper,” “we,” “us”), a Florida limited liability company doing business as Webstepper at webstepper.io. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not apply to or participate in the Program.

2.Eligibility

To participate, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction).
  • Be legally able to enter into binding contracts.
  • Operate a website, channel, newsletter, or audience that does not violate any law and is not on a sanctions list.
  • Have a valid PayPal account or other payout method we support for receiving commissions.
  • Not be a current Webstepper employee, contractor, or close family member of one.

We may refuse or revoke participation at our discretion for any lawful reason.

3.Application and approval

Applications are reviewed manually. We aim to respond within 24 business hours, though some reviews may take longer. Approval is at our sole discretion and may be based on factors including audience fit, promotion channels, and any past relationship with Webstepper.

Approved Affiliates will receive an email containing a registration link to set up their Freemius affiliate account. The Affiliate dashboard, tracking links, and payout settings are managed through Freemius on our behalf.

Submitting an application does not guarantee approval. We do not charge any fee to apply or to participate.

4.Affiliate link, cookie, and attribution

  • Cookie window: 60 days from the click. If a customer purchases within 60 days of clicking your link, the sale is attributed to you.
  • Attribution model: last-click. If a customer clicks links from multiple Affiliates within the window, the most recent click before purchase is credited.
  • Self-referrals: You may not earn commissions on your own purchases, on purchases made by family members, or on purchases made using accounts you control.
  • Link integrity: You must use the tracking link as provided. Do not cloak, mask, redirect, or modify the link in ways that obscure the affiliate relationship from end users, browsers, or our tracking system.

5.Commissions

  • Standard rate: 30% of the net sale price of each qualifying purchase made through your tracked link.
  • Recurring: 30% on subsequent renewal payments for subscription products, for as long as the customer remains an active paying subscriber and the Program remains active.
  • What “net sale price” means: the amount actually charged to the customer, excluding applicable taxes, payment processing fees, refunds, and chargebacks.
  • Refunds and chargebacks: If a referred customer is refunded (within our refund window) or initiates a chargeback, the corresponding commission is reversed and deducted from your next payout.
  • Coupons and discounts: Commissions are calculated on the discounted amount actually paid, not the list price.
  • Rate changes: We may change the commission rate prospectively with at least 30 days’ notice. Sales already attributed before a change retain the rate at the time of the click.

6.Payouts

  • Payment method: PayPal (other methods may be offered at our discretion).
  • Minimum threshold: $50 USD in earned, confirmed commissions.
  • Frequency: Monthly. Payouts are processed within the first week of each calendar month for the previous month’s confirmed earnings that exceed the minimum threshold.
  • Hold period: Commissions are confirmed after the applicable refund window has passed. Pending commissions are visible in your dashboard but not yet eligible for payout.
  • Tax responsibility: You are solely responsible for any taxes owed on commissions earned. We may require valid tax forms (e.g. W-9, W-8BEN) before issuing payouts.
  • Currency: Payouts are made in USD. Currency conversion fees, if any, are your responsibility.

7.Permitted promotion methods

You may promote Webstepper products through:

  • Your own website, blog, or newsletter where you control the content.
  • Social media accounts you control (X, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, etc.).
  • Mobile apps, courses, or paid communities you operate.
  • Honest reviews, tutorials, and comparison content.
  • Paid advertising on platforms that allow affiliate promotion — provided you bid only on non-trademarked keywords (see Section 9).

8.Prohibited conduct

The following will result in commission forfeiture and termination from the Program:

  • Spam: Unsolicited email, SMS, comment spam, forum spam, or unauthorized push notifications.
  • Misleading claims: False, deceptive, or unsubstantiated statements about Webstepper products, pricing, or features.
  • Brand bidding: Running paid ads on “Webstepper,” “Smart Cycle Discounts,” or close variants on Google Ads, Bing Ads, or any search engine.
  • Trademark misuse in domains: Registering domain names containing “Webstepper” or our product names without written permission.
  • Coupon site abuse: Posting unauthorized coupon codes or “deal” listings on coupon aggregator sites.
  • Cookie stuffing: Loading affiliate cookies without genuine user intent (iframes, pop-unders, forced redirects).
  • Incentivized clicks or purchases: Offering cash back, rebates, or other incentives to users who click your link or buy through it (unless explicitly pre-approved in writing).
  • Promotion alongside prohibited content: No adult, violent, illegal, hateful, or otherwise objectionable content adjacent to Webstepper promotion.
  • Misrepresentation: Claiming affiliation, partnership, or endorsement beyond what these Terms grant.
  • Manipulating tracking: Using fraudulent or automated traffic, click-bots, click farms, or any technique to inflate clicks, signups, or conversions.

9.Trademark and content use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the Webstepper name, logos, product names, and marketing assets we provide (“Brand Assets”) solely to promote Webstepper products under these Terms. You agree to:

  • Use Brand Assets only as provided — no modification, distortion, or combining with other marks.
  • Refer to products by their correct, current names.
  • Not imply that you are Webstepper, that you speak for Webstepper, or that Webstepper endorses your unrelated products.
  • Stop using all Brand Assets immediately upon termination.

You retain ownership of content you create that mentions Webstepper. By posting it, you grant us a non-exclusive license to share, quote, and link to it for our own marketing purposes with attribution.

10.Disclosure and FTC compliance

If you are located in the United States or your audience includes US residents, you must comply with the US Federal Trade Commission’s Endorsement Guides. This generally requires clearly and conspicuously disclosing your affiliate relationship near any link or recommendation — for example:

“This post contains affiliate links. If you sign up through them, I earn a commission at no extra cost to you.”

Affiliates in other jurisdictions are responsible for complying with their local disclosure laws (UK ASA, EU consumer rules, Canadian Competition Bureau guidance, Australian ACCC, etc.). Failure to disclose properly is grounds for termination and may expose you to direct legal liability.

11.Termination

Either party may terminate participation in the Program at any time, for any reason, with or without notice. On termination:

  • Your tracking links will be deactivated.
  • You must stop all promotion of Webstepper products and remove Brand Assets from your channels.
  • Commissions earned and confirmed prior to termination remain payable on the next scheduled payout, provided they exceed the minimum threshold and no Section 8 violations are pending review.
  • Commissions from sales we determine in good faith to be fraudulent, in breach of these Terms, or generated within 30 days before termination for cause may be withheld or reversed.

12.Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes (commission rate reductions, payout structure changes, new prohibited conduct, etc.) take effect 30 days after we post the revised Terms or notify you by email — whichever is later. Non-material changes (typo fixes, clarifications) are effective when posted. Your continued participation in the Program after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13.Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Program is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee any particular level of clicks, conversions, or earnings. Examples shown on our affiliate landing page are illustrative, not promises.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you arising out of or in connection with the Program is limited to the total commissions paid to you in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or lost opportunities.

14.Governing law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida and the United States of America, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be settled through binding arbitration seated in Pinellas County, Florida, in accordance with applicable laws and consistent with the Webstepper Terms of Service.
