30% of every sale. With our Professional license at $99/year, that's about $30 per referral. Renewals pay the same 30% the next year and every year after.
A modest 10 referrals/month at an average $99 license = ~$300/mo in year one, climbing to $500–$700/mo by year three as renewals stack. Active partners with a dedicated email list or YouTube channel earn $500–$2,000+/month within a year.
Can I promote both TrustLens and Smart Cycle Discounts?
Yes. One application covers both plugins (and anything we ship after). We use store-level attribution, so if a visitor clicks your link for one plugin and ends up buying a different Webstepper product, you still get credit.
How and when do I get paid?
Monthly via PayPal, processed in the first week of each month for the previous month's confirmed commissions. The minimum payout threshold is $50.
Commissions are confirmed after our 14-day refund window closes — so a January sale becomes payable in February.
What about renewals — do I really earn on those too?
Yes — 30% on every renewal payment, indefinitely, for as long as the customer stays subscribed. This is the part of our program most affiliates underestimate.
A single referral worth $99 today is potentially worth $30/year, every year, with compounding from your other referrals layered on top. That's why we describe this as a long-term partnership, not a transactional commission.
What's the cookie duration?
60 days, last-click attribution. If someone clicks your link and purchases within 60 days, you get the commission — even if they don't buy immediately. That's twice the typical plugin program's 30-day window.
What happens if a customer requests a refund?
If a referred customer requests a refund within the 14-day refund window, the corresponding commission is reversed and deducted from your next payout. This is standard practice and protects against fraud.
Our actual refund rate is very low (~2%), and after 14 days, commissions are locked in.
Is the program available internationally?
Yes — we accept applications from anywhere PayPal operates. Commissions are paid in USD; currency conversion fees on your side are your responsibility, but Freemius's payout infrastructure works smoothly in 100+ countries.
What's the application approval rate?
