Best Practices #
- Review before saving: Changes to active campaigns take effect immediately
- Consider timing: Make changes during low-traffic periods when possible
- Document reasons: Update the description field with why changes were made
- Check health score: Verify changes don’t create new health issues
- Test after changes: Visit the frontend to confirm changes appear correctly
- Communicate changes: If significant, update marketing materials to match
Troubleshooting Edit Issues #
Changes not appearing on frontend #
- Clear plugin cache: SC Discounts → Tools → Clear Cache
- Clear page cache (if using caching plugin)
- Hard refresh browser (Ctrl+Shift+R)
Can’t save changes #
- Check for validation errors on the current step
- Ensure required fields are completed
- Verify you have administrator permissions
Campaign reverted to old settings #
- Multiple browser tabs may cause conflicts
- Only edit from one tab at a time
- Changes from last save apply
