Will this slow down my site?

What is BOGO and how does it work?
BOGO (Buy One Get One) lets you create offers like "Buy 2, Get 1 Free" or "Buy 1, Get 1 at 50% off". Configure the buy quantity, get quantity, and discount percentage. Available in the Free version.
What are Bundle Discounts?
Bundle Discounts let you discount a required set of products only when the full set is in cart. You can use percentage off, fixed amount off, or flat bundle price. Available in Pro.
What are Spend Threshold discounts?
Spend Threshold discounts apply when cart totals reach a certain amount. For example: "Spend $100, get 15% off" or "Spend $200, get $30 off". Great for increasing average order value. Available in Pro.
How does Tiered Pricing work?
Tiered Pricing offers quantity-based discounts. Create tiers like: Buy 5+ get 10% off, Buy 10+ get 20% off, Buy 25+ get 30% off. Encourages customers to buy more. Available in the Pro version.
Can I test campaigns before going live?
Yes! Use the Draft status to create and configure campaigns without activating them. Review settings, check health scores, and preview affected products. When ready, change status to Active or Scheduled.
Can I duplicate existing campaigns?
Yes! On the Campaigns list, hover over any campaign and click "Duplicate". This creates a copy with all settings intact. Great for creating similar seasonal campaigns or A/B testing different discount amounts.
Do I get email notifications?
Yes! Free users get campaign start/end notifications. Pro users get advanced alerts: ending warnings (24hrs before), performance monitoring, daily/weekly reports, low stock alerts, and milestone notifications.
Is my data secure?
Campaign data is stored in your WordPress database. Smart Cycle Discounts follows WordPress security practices including nonce verification and capability checks. If you connect third-party email providers (for notifications), related message data is sent to those services as configured.
What's the "Random Products" mode?
Random Products mode automatically selects X products from your catalog each time the campaign runs. Perfect for "Mystery Sales" or rotating promotions. Just set how many products you want discounted.
Can I offer free shipping with campaigns?
Yes! Enable free shipping for any campaign with a single toggle. When enabled, customers receive free shipping on qualifying orders. You can apply it to all shipping methods or select specific methods like flat rate or local pickup.
Is it compatible with HPOS?
Yes! Smart Cycle Discounts is fully compatible with WooCommerce High-Performance Order Storage (HPOS). We've declared compatibility and tested thoroughly with custom order tables.
Does it work with WooCommerce Product Add-Ons?
Yes. Smart Cycle Discounts supports add-on priced products and recent releases improved live recalculation stability on single product pages. In Pro (1.7.65+), campaigns also include add-on discount application control for base-focused pricing behavior.
What is Campaign Intelligence?
Campaign Intelligence is a built-in decision engine that analyzes your campaigns and gives you actionable guidance. The free version includes risk signals, next-step recommendations, confidence scoring, and promotion guardrails. Pro unlocks strategic performance metrics like revenue per discount dollar, margin risk scoring, promotion lift expectations, and 30-day analytics history with CSV export.
How do Promotion Guardrails work?
Promotion Guardrails set adaptive safety boundaries for your discount strategy. You can configure limits for max discount load, override intensity, concurrent campaigns, and minimum stability score. When you try to exceed a boundary, you get a confirmation prompt explaining the risk. They guide rather than block, so you always stay in control.
What happens when a campaign ends?
When a campaign reaches its end date, it automatically deactivates and removes sale prices from affected products. The campaign stays in your list as "Ended" so you can duplicate it or reactivate with new dates.
