Campaign Wizard Overview

The Campaign Wizard is a 5-step guided process for creating and editing discount campaigns. It provides a modern, fullscreen interface that walks you through each configuration step with real-time validation and helpful guidance.
Accessing the Wizard #
You can access the Campaign Wizard in several ways:
- New Campaign: Go to SC Discounts > Campaigns and click “Add New Campaign”
- Edit Campaign: Click on any campaign name in the campaigns list
- Dashboard: Click “Create New Campaign” button on the dashboard
Wizard Steps Overview #

Navigation Bar #
Located at the top, showing:
- Current step indicator with progress
- Step names (clickable to navigate between completed steps)

Main Content Area #
The central area contains:
- Step title and description
- Configuration cards with form fields
- Real-time validation messages
- Helpful tooltips on each field
Sidebar #
The right sidebar shows:
- Campaign summary (updates as you configure)
- Contextual help topics
- Quick actions and tips
Footer Navigation #
Bottom navigation with:
- Previous button (go back to prior step)
- Next button (proceed to next step)
- Save as Draft option (save without launching)
Key Features #
Auto-Save #
Your progress is automatically saved as you work. If you leave the wizard accidentally, you can return and continue where you left off.
Real-Time Validation #
Fields are validated as you type, showing immediate feedback for any issues. The wizard won’t let you proceed to the next step until required fields are properly filled.
Contextual Help #
Each field has a tooltip icon (?) that provides detailed guidance about what the field does and how to use it.
Campaign Health Score #
On the Review step, you’ll see a health score (0-100) that indicates how well your campaign is configured. The score considers factors like:
- Product availability and stock levels
- Discount value appropriateness
- Schedule conflicts with other campaigns
- Configuration completeness
Navigation Tips #
Moving Between Steps #
- Click “Next” to move forward (requires validation to pass)
- Click “Previous” to go back (your data is preserved)
- Click step indicators in the progress bar (only for completed steps)
Saving Your Work #
- Draft: Save at any time without launching
- Launch: Complete all steps and activate the campaign
Exiting the Wizard #
Click the Exit button (X) in the top-right corner. You’ll be prompted to save your progress before leaving.
Edit Mode vs. Create Mode #
Create Mode (New Campaign) #
- All fields start with default values
- Final step shows “Launch Campaign” button
- Campaign is created when you complete the wizard
Edit Mode (Existing Campaign) #
- Fields are pre-populated with existing values
- Final step shows “Update Campaign” button
- Changes are saved to the existing campaign
- You can see the current campaign status in the header
Keyboard Shortcuts #

Mobile Responsiveness #
The wizard is fully responsive and works on tablets and mobile devices:
