Specific Products Mode

The “Specific Products” selection mode lets you hand-pick exactly which products receive your discount. This gives you precise control over your promotions.
When to Use Specific Products #
This mode is ideal for:
- Targeted promotions – Discount specific items you want to push
- Overstock clearance – Select items you need to move
- Featured product deals – Highlight chosen products
- Bundle promotions – Discount products that go well together
- Test campaigns – Try discounts on a few products first
How to Select Products #
Using the Search Box #
- Click in the product search field
- Type to search by:
- Product name
- SKU
- Product ID
- Results appear as you type
- Click a product to add it to your selection
Search Results Display #
Each search result shows:
- Product thumbnail image
- Product name
- SKU (if available)
- Current price
- Stock status
Managing Your Selection #

Selection Display #
Selected products appear as tags/chips below the search box:
- Product name displayed
- X button to remove
- Total count shown (e.g., “12 products selected”)
Category Pre-Filtering #
You can narrow your search by selecting categories first:
- In the Categories card, select one or more categories
- Switch to “Specific Products” mode
- Search now only shows products from selected categories
This is helpful when you have thousands of products and want to focus on a specific category.
Handling Variable Products #
When you select a variable product (like a t-shirt with sizes):
- The parent product is selected
- All variations inherit the discount
- You cannot select individual variations separately
Example: Select “Classic T-Shirt” and all sizes (S, M, L, XL) receive the discount.
Product Availability #
Products displayed in search must be:
- Published (not draft or private)
- Simple or variable product type
- Not external/affiliate products
Out of stock products can be searched and selected but may show a warning.
Selection Limits #
There are practical limits to consider:

| Technical max | 500 products | Beyond this, consider “All Products” with conditions |
For campaigns affecting more than 100 products, consider using “All Products” with category filters or “Smart Selection” (Pro) for better performance.
Search Tips #
By Product Name #
Type part of the product name. The search is partial-match, so “blue shirt” finds “Ocean Blue Shirt” and “Blue Striped Shirt”.
By SKU #
Type the exact SKU or a portion of it. SKU search is case-insensitive.
By Product ID #
Type the numeric product ID directly (e.g., “1234”).

- Keep Selections Manageable: Under 50 products is ideal for easy management
- Review Stock Levels: Check that selected products are in stock
- Use Categories First: Pre-filter by category before searching
- Document Your Selection: Use campaign description to note why products were chosen
- Monitor for Changes: Deleted or modified products affect your campaign
