Campaign List

2 min read

The Campaigns List page is your central hub for viewing, managing, and organizing all discount campaigns. Access it via SC Discounts → Campaigns in your WordPress admin menu.

Page Layout Overview #

The Campaigns page includes:

  • Header: Page title and “Add New Campaign” button
  • Status Tabs: Filter campaigns by status
  • Search Box: Find campaigns by name
  • Bulk Actions: Manage multiple campaigns at once
  • Campaign Table: List of all campaigns with key information
  • Pagination: Navigate through large campaign lists

Status Filter Tabs #

Click tabs to filter the campaign list:

Tab Shows
All Every campaign regardless of status
Active Currently running campaigns
Scheduled Future campaigns waiting to start
Draft Unpublished campaigns
Paused Temporarily suspended campaigns
Expired Campaigns past their end date

Each tab shows a count of campaigns in that status.

Campaign Table Columns #

Column Information Displayed Sortable?
Checkbox Select for bulk actions No
Campaign Name Name (click to open overview panel) Yes
Status Current status badge (Active, Scheduled, etc.) Yes
Products Selection type and product count No
Discount Type and value (e.g., “20% off”) No
Schedule Start → End dates or “Indefinite” Yes
Priority Priority level (1-5) Yes
Health Health score indicator Yes

Sorting Campaigns #

Click sortable column headers to reorder:

  • Click once: Sort ascending (A-Z, oldest first, lowest priority)
  • Click again: Sort descending (Z-A, newest first, highest priority)
  • Arrow indicator shows current sort direction

Default Sort #

By default, campaigns sort by status (active first) then by start date (newest first).

Searching Campaigns #

Use the search box to find campaigns:

  • Enter campaign name or partial name
  • Search is case-insensitive
  • Results filter as you type (or press Enter)
  • Clear the search to see all campaigns again

Row Actions #

Hover over a campaign row to reveal action links:

Action Description Availability
Edit Open campaign in wizard All campaigns
Duplicate Create a copy of this campaign All campaigns
Pause Temporarily suspend Active campaigns
Resume Reactivate paused campaign Paused campaigns
Activate Now Start immediately Scheduled/Draft
Delete Permanently remove All campaigns

Campaign Name Click Behavior #

Clicking a campaign name opens the Campaign Overview Panel — a slide-out panel showing detailed campaign information without leaving the list page.

The overview panel displays:

  • Full campaign details
  • Product selection summary
  • Discount configuration
  • Schedule information
  • Health score and recommendations
  • Performance metrics (Pro)
  • Quick action buttons

Creating New Campaigns #

Two ways to create campaigns from this page:

  1. Add New Campaign button: Click the button at the top of the page
  2. Duplicate existing: Hover over a campaign and click “Duplicate”

Both open the Campaign Wizard.

Pagination #

For large campaign lists:

  • Default shows 20 campaigns per page
  • Navigation at bottom: First, Previous, Page Numbers, Next, Last
  • Current page and total pages displayed

Status Badge Colors #

Status Badge Color Visual Meaning
Active Green Running, applying discounts
Scheduled Blue Waiting to start
Draft Gray Not published
Paused Yellow/Orange Temporarily stopped
Expired Red Ended

Health Score Indicators #

The Health column shows campaign configuration quality:

Indicator Score Range Meaning
Green circle 90-100 Excellent configuration
Blue circle 70-89 Good, minor improvements possible
Yellow circle 50-69 Fair, review recommended
Orange circle 30-49 Poor, issues affecting performance
Red circle 0-29 Critical issues need attention

Click the indicator to open the campaign overview panel with detailed health information.

Products Column Information #

Shows selection type and count:

  • “All Products” — Store-wide discount
  • “23 Products” — Specific products selected
  • “Random (10)” — 10 random products
  • “Smart: Best Sellers” — Smart selection mode (Pro)

Schedule Column Information #

Shows campaign timing:

  • “Dec 20 → Dec 27” — Date range
  • “Starts Dec 25” — Scheduled, no end date
  • “Runs indefinitely” — No start or end date
  • “Ended Dec 15” — Expired campaign
  • 🔄 icon indicates recurring campaign

Tips for Managing Large Campaign Lists #

  1. Use status filters: Focus on Active campaigns for daily management
  2. Archive expired: Consider deleting old expired campaigns to keep the list clean
  3. Name consistently: Use naming conventions like “2025-Q1-Sale” for easy sorting
  4. Sort by priority: Quickly see which campaigns take precedence
  5. Check health regularly: Sort by health to find campaigns needing attention
