Scheduled Reports
3 min read
Scheduled Reports are Pro’s batch-summary email reports — daily, weekly, or monthly summaries of TrustLens activity, customer trends, and protection KPIs. Unlike per-event notifications, scheduled reports aggregate data over a configured window into a single comprehensive email. This page covers the available reports, how to configure them, and what each one tells you.
Location: TrustLens → Settings → Reports.

- High-risk orders placed yesterday
- Segment changes (top 10 movers)
- Disputes filed
- Card-testing events

- Action items based on the data
Use Case #
Operations teams who want a single “what happened overnight” briefing instead of waking up to a flood of per-event alerts.
Weekly Protection Report #

- Per-module breakdown of detection activity
- Customer cohort analysis (new vs returning)
- Chargeback ratio per brand

Owner / leadership reporting, board updates, ROI documentation. The headline metrics quantify the protection TrustLens provided in dollar terms, supporting the business case for continued Pro licensing.
Detection Activity Report #
Per-module signal volume and trends. Useful for understanding which modules are doing the most work and where you might tune.
Per-Module Sections #

- Coupons: first-order coupon repeats detected, coupon-then-refund cycles
- Linked Accounts: new links detected, fraud rings identified
- Chargebacks: disputes filed, outcomes, ratio trend
- Card-Testing: lockouts, panic freezes, top attacking fingerprints
- Shipping Anomalies: address hops, country mismatches

The report generates on its schedule via Action Scheduler. Misses or delays are visible in the report log.
Custom Date Windows #
Reports default to standard windows (24 hours, 7 days, calendar month). Pro allows custom windows for one-off reports:
- Go to Settings → Reports → Generate Custom Report
- Choose report type and date range
- Choose recipient (or download immediately)
- Generate
Useful for end-of-quarter summaries, year-in-review reports, or ad-hoc fraud investigations.
Report Format #
All reports send as HTML emails with attached PDF versions for archival. The PDF is formatted for printing and easy forwarding. CSV exports of the underlying data are linked from the email — useful for downstream analysis.
Performance #
Reports run as Action Scheduler jobs. Generation is fast — most reports complete in under 30 seconds even on large stores. The data aggregation uses indexed queries against TrustLens’s customer and event tables.
If a scheduled report doesn’t arrive, check the report log first (under Settings → Reports → History) — most issues are either email deliverability or Action Scheduler stalls, not the report system itself.
Disabling Reports #
Each report can be disabled individually. To pause all reports: Settings → Reports → Pause all reports. Configurable resume date supported.
Reports vs Notifications vs Automation #
| Purpose | Best Tool |
|---|---|
| Single-event alerting | Pro notification types or automation |
| Scheduled summaries | Scheduled reports |
| Slack / webhook delivery | Automation engine |
| Custom recipients per condition | Automation engine |
| Daily morning briefing | Daily Digest report |
| Monthly leadership update | Monthly Revenue Protection report |
