The Scheduled Reports settings configure Pro’s scheduled email reports — a summary of your customer base and recent activity, sent on daily, weekly, or monthly schedules. The Free Weekly Summary and Pro’s Daily Digest and Monthly Revenue Protection Report are notifications, configured under Notifications instead. This page covers how to configure report schedules, recipients, and delivery.
Location: TrustLens → Settings → Alerts & Reports → Scheduled Reports. On the free version, this section shows an overview of the Pro feature.
The Page #
The Scheduled Reports section has four parts:
- Scheduled Reports settings — Enable Scheduled Reports, Weekly Recipients, Monthly Recipients
- Send a test report — email a weekly or monthly report to any address now
- Recent sends — a log of reports sent
- Report Schedules — the list of schedules, with Add Report Schedule
Settings #
| Setting | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Enable Scheduled Reports | Off | Master switch. While off, no schedule runs. |
| Weekly Recipients | WordPress admin email | Addresses that receive daily and weekly reports (type an address and press Enter to add it) |
| Monthly Recipients | WordPress admin email | Addresses that receive monthly reports |
Each schedule has these options, set when you add it:
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Report type | Summary Report, High-Risk Customers, Segment Changes, Blocked Checkout Attempts, or Trust Trends. In this version every type sends the same report. |
| Frequency | Daily, weekly (default), or monthly |
| Time | Time of day in your store’s timezone (default 09:00) |
| Day | Day of the week, for weekly schedules |
| Schedule is active | On/off for this schedule |
There are no subject prefix, section toggle, date range, format, or PDF options.
Schedule Options #
Daily Reports #
Sent every day at the chosen time, covering the last day. Delivery depends on WP-Cron, so a report goes out on the first site request after its time unless you run a real server cron.
Weekly Reports #
Day of week + time of day. Defaults: Monday, 09:00. Covers the last 7 days.
Monthly Reports #
Sent on the 1st of each month at the chosen time. Covers the last 30 days.
One-Off Reports #
Use Send Now on a schedule, or Send a test report to email a weekly or monthly report to one address. There are no custom date ranges.
Recipients #
Recipients are set per frequency, not per schedule:
- Daily and weekly schedules go to Weekly Recipients
- Monthly schedules go to Monthly Recipients
To send different reports to different people, put the audiences on different frequencies — for example, ops on weekly and leadership on monthly.
Report Content #
Every report has the same sections, covering the schedule’s period:
- Period Summary — active customers, new customers, refunded orders, customers blocked
- Overall Statistics — total customers, average trust score, store return rate, customer-average return rate, total blocked
- Customer Segments — count per segment
- Top Returners — the 5 customers with the highest return rates
- High-Risk Customers — up to 10 Risk or Critical customers whose records changed in the period
Sections can’t be turned on or off.
Format #
Reports are HTML emails. There is no plain-text or multipart option and no PDF attachment.
Sender Identity #
Reports are sent from your site name at the WordPress admin email address, like TrustLens’s other emails. There are no sender settings; to change the From identity, use an SMTP plugin that overrides it.
Report Log #
The Recent sends table logs each report:
- When it was sent
- Which report (and whether it was a test)
- Recipients
- Result (Sent or Failed)
Useful for confirming scheduled reports are firing. Most missing-report issues are deliverability (email getting filtered) or WP-Cron not running, rather than generation failures.
Pausing Reports #
To pause one schedule, untick its checkbox in the Report Schedules table. To pause all reports, turn off Enable Scheduled Reports; your schedules are kept. There’s no automatic resume date.
Report Performance #
Reports are built from a handful of aggregate queries against TrustLens’s customer and event tables and sent by a WP-Cron job when a schedule is due, so they don’t slow down any user-facing flows. Send Now and test reports are built immediately when you click.
Restoring Defaults #
There is no Restore Defaults button. To change a schedule, delete it and add a new one.
