Smart Cycle Discounts Pro can track additional data about where your discount-driven sales come from, including geographic distribution and traffic sources. This feature requires Smart Cycle Discounts Pro.


Geographic Data #

What’s Tracked #

Geographic data is captured from WooCommerce order billing/shipping information:

Data Point Source
Country Billing country from order
State/Region Billing state/province
City Billing city

Geographic Report #

View discount sales by location:

  • Country breakdown: Revenue and conversions per country
  • Top regions: Best-performing states/provinces
  • Map visualization: Heat map showing discount sales concentration

Viewing Geographic Data #

In Analytics Dashboard #

  1. Go to SC Discounts → Analytics
  2. Scroll to “Geographic Performance” section
  3. View default country breakdown

Geographic Table #

Column Description
Country Country name and flag
Orders Number of discount orders
Revenue Total revenue from that country
% of Total Percentage of overall discount revenue

Drill Down #

Click a country to see state/region breakdown within that country.


Traffic Source Tracking #

What’s Tracked #

If UTM parameters or referrer data is available:

Integration with UTM Parameters #

  • “Direct” traffic includes various untracked sources

Enabling Enhanced Tracking #

Geographic data is collected automatically from WooCommerce orders.

For traffic source tracking:

  1. Use UTM parameters on marketing links
  2. Ensure WooCommerce session tracking is enabled
  3. Check that caching plugins don’t strip UTM parameters
